- You're weighing in at 14 lbs 5 oz (you've gained weight so that's good, we're mixing your formula differently so you get more calorie intake-we're still kind of 'solving' that situation but you're doing great, pal!)
- You sit up now like a pro
- You have been blowing raspberries even more now when you're tired and/or not happy. It's quite the challenge not to just laugh at it because it's so funny.
- You are so grabby. Constantly reaching for things and just very curious towards your surroundings.
- You have started to grab onto faces more and then 'eat' at whomever may be the victim. No teeth, so no worry. It's a good mix of odd and funny, still needing to capture it.
- You're still sleeping great but have recently been waking up once, either late night or early morning and taking a good 5.5 oz, which is great that you're getting more...if only it'd be during the day:) Could be worse, so no complaining here.
- Not crawling yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's sometime soon. You are starting to push up more onto your legs and scooting backwards.
- You're out of your baby bath tub and straight into the sink with a towel for padding. Definitely less splash attacks from you that way.
- You're still a droll machine and chomping on almost anything-we continue to wonder when you'll break through with teeth or if you'll just be 'teething' for a long while.
- You have recently started messing with your car seat shade. It cracks both us and you up-you grab onto it and move it to the bottom no matter how often we adjust it back.
These are the adorable pictures I couldn't resist sharing.Want me to caption them? Don't mind if I do..
Whattt?!
Me?!
Muahahaha!
Also wanted to show you're good 'what the hey?!' face. Man you have this face nailed down and wore it strong while I snapped some pictures of the two of us.
It's hard for us to even believe the many changes and milestones you have reached thus far. Seems it was just yesterday that we were taking in every inch of you for the first time in awe of what God blessed us with. Don't worry, we still are, every day you bring a smile to our faces and we count our blessings more and more.
Words cannot express the joy you bring to us and those around you. You are so loved and we are so proud to be your parents, Caden. Cheers to 6 months and more to come. Love you buddy.
